If you are like me, you look for the perfect unique recipe for the 4th of July. I love offering a “wow” dish or dessert when people come to celebrate. Food is my love language and nothing says love better than a dessert!

Although sorbet may seem complicated, it is actually a really simple recipe that requires no ice cream maker. This 4th of July sorbet is completely done in just 15 minutes, chill for an hour and viola…an amazing 4th of July dessert!

Each recipe only requires a quick blend of all ingredients in your food processor or smoothie blender!

Red, White, & Blue Sorbet!

Red raspberry and lime sorbet brings a vibrant red to this 4th of July sorbet. For the white, a tropical pineapple coconut sorbet. And finally a blueberry vanilla sorbet rounds out this colorful 4th of July sorbet.

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Frozen Raspberries
  • 4 TBSP Maple Syrup Alternatives: Honey or Agave
  • 1 TBSP Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice

Instructions

  • In a food processor or quality smoothie blender, combined all ingredients and blend until smooth. Pause to scrape the sides with a spatula to ensure ingredients are well mixed through.
  • Freeze for an hour to improve firmness, but enjoy immediately if you can not resist!

  • 4 Cups Frozen Pineapple
  • 13.5 Ounce Coconut Milk

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a food processor or smoothie blender. Blend until smooth, pausing to scrape sides to ensure all ingredients are well mixed and smoothed.
  • Transfer sorbet into a freezer safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours.

A tropical blend of pineapple and coconut complements the sweet-tart raspberry sorbet perfectly. This sorbet requires a little more blending due to the fibrous nature of the pineapple. Opening the can of coconut milk will be the most work you will need to do for this recipe!

Like a frozen pina colada, I love this pineapple coconut sorbet all by itself and have to sneak a few spoonfuls straight from the food processor!

Fruity and fun, the Blueberry Vanilla Sorbet tops off the trio for this 4th of July Sorbet. I like honey as my sweetner in this recipe as I feel it sweetens the berries perfectly.

Simply combine the three sorbet flavors in an airtight container and freeze for a patriotic summer frozen dessert!
