Requiring only 3 ingredients that you likely have in your home already, this sorbet whips up in just minutes! I like to freeze it for about an hour or two prior to serving, to improve the texture….but if you can’t wait, it is simply mouthwatering straight out of the blender!

Raspberry Lime Sorbet

Ingredients!

  • Frozen Raspberries: Choose whole berry, frozen raspberries without juice for this recipe. My local grocer offers a quick frozen organic option that is perfect!
  • Fresh Lime: A little splash of freshly squeezed lime juice really brings forward the tart sweetness of the raspberries.
  • A Touch of Sweetness: I tend to use maple syrup as I always have this one hand and it blends in better than honey. You can however use agave or honey if you prefer.

My kids love sorbet, little do they know I am sneaking in plenty of fresh fruit, no refined sugars…a refreshing treat on a hot summer that is really good for them!

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Frozen Raspberries
  • 4 TBSP Maple Syrup Alternatives: Honey or Agave
  • 1 TBSP Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice

Instructions

  • In a food processor or quality smoothie blender, combined all ingredients and blend until smooth. Pause to scrape the sides with a spatula to ensure ingredients are well mixed through.
  • Freeze for an hour to improve firmness, but enjoy immediately if you can not resist!
